With profound sadness we announce the passing of Mark Worbeck on January 2nd, 2020.

A Winnipeg native, Mark found his true home on the west coast while pursing his life-long passion for the automobile. In the early 1990s, he obtained a sales position with Richmond Lexus and went on to become General Manager for many of his 20+ years with the company.

Mark’s compassionate, loving and caring nature will be forever cherished by Judith, his wife of nearly 50 years, his daughter Kim, his son Clayton, his daughter-in-law Emma, and his beautiful grandchildren Vivienne and Ash.

A Funeral service for Mark will be held on Saturday January 11 at 10 am at Peninsula United Church, 2756  127 Street, Surrey, followed by internment at Heritage Gardens Cemetery, 19082 16 Ave, Surrey,  and a Celebration of Life at Morgan Creek Golf Course, 3500 Morgan Creek Way, Surrey.

Flowers kindly declined, and in lieu, donations may be made to the Irene Thomas Hospice Society at https://deltahospice.org/donation-options/

From time to time through life's journey I have been privileged to have met and befriended a small group of men of significant character and integrity. Mark is very much of that breed and a small group it seems to be. It is hard to let go of this kind of friendship but this to is a part of life. I miss you already Mark though it has only been a short time. Dan

My condolences to the Mark’s Family. Mark was a key part of one of the best periods of my career and I think Mark’s, the launch of the Lexus brand in Canada. We were a small team trying to make a mark in an establish market and Mark was key in making Lexus a success in Vancouver. Rest well my friend.

One year has gone by, good grief. We, Mark`s old Lexus staff, would like Judith and the kids to know that we will never forget him.
As I said before, Mark has given me my 10 best years during my working life.
Bas.

Even though you were my GM for only a few months, you always said hi to me whenever you visited to get your oil changed or tires swapped for winter at the dealership. Much time has past now since and even I no longer work at lexus, but I still miss your smile and your warm aura.
