• A Licensed undertaker to meet with the executor in their home, our office or electronically
• Transportation of the deceased from any local hospital, care facility or house 24/7 to our sheltering facility
• Handling of the documentation to register the death, produce the original death certificate and disposition permit
• Cold storage sheltering of the deceased for up to 30 days, following that there is a $50 per day charge.
• Body preparation as requested and indicated by the service type (non-embalming or embalming)

Standard Committal Service

---

Standard Commital Service allows for an honourable sendoff where family and friends can choose to be part of the process. This includes; the decedent being fully prepared for a final farewell, use of our hearse to provide a memorable ‘last ride’ with family members having the option to join in procession to your choice of cemetery or our preferred crematorium, having the burial / cremation scheduled so family may be present, with the option to witness the beginning of the burial /  cremation.

Our witness cremation services provides for a scheduled cremation at our community crematorium where there is an opportunity for a short final goodbye prior to the start of the cremation process. If a viewing or ceremony is requested prior to the Witness, additional charges will apply.

This service allows for family and friends to have an opportunity to gather for 2 hours to pay their respects prior to the disposition. ​This may take place at a church, community hall, or at our local Aldergrove Heritage Hall.

The Traditional Funeral Service is where family and friends gather to pay their respects and honour the life of their loved one in either a private or public setting. ** Terramation (Natural Organic Reduction) is a new choice of disposition that is available through Return Home, a licensed facility in Auburn, Washington, where a laying in ceremony may occur. 
​​This service can be its own ceremony or added onto a local ceremony prior to transport to Washington.
​​Our package includes the documentation, decedent preparation and transportation to the facility in Washington.

Do-It-Yourself Funeral

Would you like us to prepare everything, so you simply come pick up your loved one for their funeral? We can make that happen for you! We transport the deceased from place of death to prepare their body, register the death with the province and file all the necessary ​paperwork including the Consumer Protection BC private transfer permit and death certificate. As a family or community you then can transport the person, perform the ceremony and disposition without requiring the presence of funeral home staff.

This service provides staff equipped with a transfer vehicle and stretcher to transport the deceased from a hospital or hospice to a home.

Home Preparation House Call

Is your loved one already at home? Do you want help to prepare their body? This service provides a licensed embalmer who will attend to the family home and help the family prepare their loved one's body through a non-embalming process to bathe, dress and if present casket.

Paperwork for Family Lead Disposition & Private Transfer

This administrative service allows a family to go to the hospital / hospice and transport the deceased home or to the cemetery/crematorium.  We simply help you acquire these documents in a timely ad efficient manner. The family is required to have the appropriate vehicle and casket for transportation and will prepare the body themselves. 
This includes: registering the death with vital statistics to produce the disposition permit and original death certificate and the Consumer Protection BC private transfer permit. 

D-I-Y Home Funeral
starting at ​$2,497

This service includes: registering the death with vital statistics to produce the disposition permit and original death certificate, the Consumer Protection BC private transfer permit and initial transportation from place of death and sheltering at our facility until the time of the funeral. The family looks after the bathing, dressing & casketing of the body and any ceremony. Family is required to have the appropriate vehicle and casket for transportation to their choice of cemetery or crematorium.

Neonatal Direct Burial
​all-in price $805

This service is done on behalf of the family by the funeral home staff. This includes initial transport from the hospital casketing into our Neonatal White Wood Casket or Full Term White Cloth Casket and transport to choice of local cemetery 
Burial must be done Monday - Friday and typically around 11am at Mountain View Cemetery in Vancouver or Surrey Centre Cemetery in Surrey. 

Traditional Funeral with Burial

Traditional Funeral with Cremation

This service provides all our usual services for a viewing and funeral, including initial transportation, body preparation, registration paperwork, use of our hearse, and support of our staff.
​The family is encouraged to build the child a casket if possible, otherwise caskets are available for purchase. 

Certificates of Remembrance or Death Certificates are $27 each and are optional. $48 Consumer Protection BC fee may not apply. Government fee and taxes apply.

Our Disinterment Service consists of removing an individual’s remains under the supervision of our licensed undertaker. The remains may then be moved to another section of the same cemetery, moved to another cemetery or brought to our preparation facility as part of further arrangements for cremation or repatriation.

The above service may require additional costs for items such as the purchase of a new casket/urn, cremation fee. Government fee and taxes are applicable.

Prices effective January 1, 2024 and are subject to change without notice. 
All services subject to Government Fees and Taxes. This includes the Consumer Protection BC Fee $48, 5% GST on all services and items, and 7% PST on all products. Additional Death Certificates can be purchased for $27 each.
Burial caskets start at $495, Cremation caskets $295, Urns $95. You may also choose to provide your own casket or urn.
