Christopher Roy Wilkes
November 9, 1954 - December 4, 2022 Chris Wilkes left this world peacefully on Sunday morning after a nearly four-year battle with cancer, with his wife Jennifer at his side. His last days were at the Fraser Canyon hospital in Hope, BC. The family wishes to extend their thanks for the kindness and attention provided by the care staff during that difficult time. Chris touched so many lives with his generosity, good humor, and drive to spread the joy of playing games wherever he went. Game Days, the Wizards of the Coast Game Center, the Carleton Strategy Club, the Alexander Games Club ... the list goes on and on. All those friends, and their friends and families, will keep Chris's memory alive for many years to come. He was many things: Cherished brother and son. Loving husband. Creator of worlds. Imaginative designer. Inventive game master. A loyal and generous friend. No formal service is planned; interment will be December 12, 2022, 11:00 AM, in the Chilliwack Cemeteries Heritage Woods green burial site. Celebrations of Chris's life will be held in the weeks to come. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Fraser Canyon Hospice Society, the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation, or the Cancer Research Society.
