Vassos, Basile

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather (Papou) and brother, Vasili Vassos. Vasili was born in Prasto Kinorias Greece in 1934 and passed away peacefully on November 11, 2021.
Vasili is survived by his wife Anastasia, his two children Costa Vassos (Miranda) and Despina Vassos (Peter). Grandchildren, Vasili and Athan. He will lovingly be remembered by his surviving siblings; Giorgos and Taxiarxi. Preceded in death by Angeliki and Xula.
Vasili enjoyed his time with his best friend and soulmate Anastasia. They were partners in crime from building homes, hunting and travelling. His priority was always his family. Whether is was cheering them on the sidelines of the soccer field or the sidelines of life.
A funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 13181 96 Ave, Surrey, BC. Followed by a burial at Valley View Cemetery at 14644 72 Ave, Surrey, BC. Family and friends are encouraged to leave a memory or message of condolences. Please keep Vasili in your hearts and say a prayer for him.
