Matthew Robbins
Matthew Scott Robbins tragically passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, November 10th, 2021. He was 17 years old.

The second of three boys, Matthew was born in White Rock, British Columbia on September 13th, 2004.  He enjoyed creating precious memories with his family and dearest friends, and loved spending time with his beloved grandpa.  Some of his passions included classic rock n’ roll, 80’s music, fishing, working on his treasured car that he bought himself, and playing his guitar.  Matthew also had an incredible talent for writing.  After graduation this year, he had hoped to begin school at BCIT in order to become a heavy duty mechanic.

Matthew enjoyed all that life had to offer.  He was always kind to those around him and made many friends throughout his life.  His closest friends will sorely miss his contagious laughter, bright smile, sweet kindness, and amazing sense of humour.  Matthew preferred real personal connections instead of social media, often spending many hours in deep conversation with his close circle of friends.

Matthew is survived by his heartbroken and devastated family: parents Scott and Katie Robbins, older brother James, younger brother Caleb, grandmother Darlene Chamberlain and aunt Christina Chamberlain.  He was predeceased earlier this year by his beloved grandpa, Dave Chamberlain.  Taken much too soon, he will be forever missed by those who loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 27 with visiting starting at 1:30pm - 3:30pm at Jericho Centre, 19533 64th Ave, Surrey. T
o ensure the safety of the family during their time of mourning and so the focus of the gathering is on remembering Matthew, all who are invited to attend must be fully vaccinated and wear a mask.

Keeping the safety of the community in mind and to follow Covid-19 guidelines, the Celebration of Life will only allow for Immediate Family and Invited Guests to attend.
