Onto his next journey...

Passed away unexpectedly in Vancouver, B.C on June 14, 2018 at the age of 69. Larry is survived by Father John Rice Sr. His loving partner of 20 years - Serena George. Children: Derek, Carol, Chamain, Meade, Venancia (Cody)

Siblings: Brian, Patrick, Michael, Marilyn, Karen, Daniel, Doreen, and John. He was a loving caring; Dad, Poppa, Uncle, Brother and friend. 

Predeceased by: Amanda Johnny (grandmother) Lillian Rice (Mother) Arlene (sister) Charlie (Son) Veronica (daughter)
After 43 years as a longshoreman he retired  at the age of 63. His passion for soccer continued to shine bright with his participation and contribution to Totem Soccer throughout his later years.

​An evening prayer service will be held at 7pm on Tuesday June 19 with funeral held at 9am on June 20. Both will occur at the Musqueam Community Center, 6777 Salish Drive, Vancouver (Musqueam Reserve) Afterwards Larry will be laid to rest in the Musqueam cemetery.
