Wayne was a skilledcarpenter and boat builder. He was very passionate about Archaeology, and worked for UBC Museum of Anthropology and for the Musqueam Band bringing important insights to his history andhis community. He mademultiple significant finds and changed public perception of his peoples’ heritage. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed passing on his knowledge to those around him, training many a young hunter. He always maintained a great sense of humour, one ofthe traits for which he was known. Wayne loved his family and always enjoyed meeting up with relations when he was traveling. He was proud of his grandkids and spent a great deal of time passing on as much knowledge as he could to them.

Evening prayers to be on December 6, 2017 at 7pm with the funeral mass held at 10am on December 7. Both will occur at the Musqueam Community Center, 6777 Salish Drive, Vancouver (Musqueam Reserve), afterwards Wayne will be laid to rest in the Musqueam cemetery.
