Our Services


What Our Prices include:
  • A Licensed undertaker to meet with the executor at their home, our office or electronically
  • Transportation of the deceased from any local hospital, care facility or house 24/7 to our sheltering facility
  • Handling the documentation to register the death, produce the original death certificate and disposition permit
  • Sheltering the deceased until the time  of burial or cremation with no limit on the number of days sheltered
  • Body preparation as requested and indicated by the service type (non-embalming or embalming)
  • Use of one of our Cadillac hearses and equipment
  • Products are additional and can be viewed at our online store
  • Staffing for the cemetery/crematorium (including additional pallbearers if needed). ​
  • We help coordinate third party expenses like: newspaper obituaries, flowers, catering, venue rental and celebrants

Burials

Minimum Burial Disposition
​(Funeral staff only)
$2,497

This option is for when only the minimum is required for a burial, example; we are acting on behalf of an out of town executor or an institution like the Public Guardian and Trustee

Standard Burial Service (Graveside Service) $2,997

Our Standard Burial Service is the process of laying someone to Rest In Peace with a committal ceremony conducted at the cemetery plot with the option for a short good bye at the back of the hearse prior to burial.

Funeral or Visitation Service with Burial $3,497

This service allows for family and friends to have a gathering prior to the burial. The Funeral  or Visitation may take place at a church, community hall, or at our preparation facility’s chapel.

Funeral Service & Visitation with Burial $3,997

This service gives the family an opportunity to have a time of visitation with immediate family or hold an evening vigil service prior to the more public funeral ceremony. This is typically done over two days or at two venue locations. 
The above prices include 1 original death certificate. Casket, government fee and taxes are additional.
Additional items of note: Private family viewing/Identification at our preparation facility is $295.
Staff services for weekends are: Saturday overtime fee $1,000 and Sunday overtime fee is $2,000

Cremations

Minimum Cremation Disposition
​(Funeral staff only) $2,497

This is an option for when only the minimum is required for a cremation and we are acting on your family's behalf
*Using our  Ancient Burials Enviro Trundle and the crematorium supplied urn, along with the Consumer Protection BC government fee and taxes our all-in price is $2,992.90

Standard Cremation (Witness Service) $3,497

Our Standard Cremation allows for an honourable send-off and where family can choose to be part of the process. This includes; the deceased being properly prepared, use of our Cadillac hearse to provide a memorable ‘last ride’ where family members have the option to join in procession to our preferred community crematorium, having the cremation scheduled so family may have a final goodbye with the option to witness the beginning of the cremation.

Funeral or Visitation Service $3,997

Funeral Service with Visitation $4,497

This service gives the family an opportunity to have a time of visitation with immediate family or hold an evening vigil service prior to the more public funeral ceremony. This is typically done over two days or at two venue locations. ​

Funeral Service with Visitation and Burial of Ashes $4,997

​Once the funeral and cremation are completed, this option includes assisting with the burial of the ashes conducted at your choice of local cemetery.
The above prices include 1 original death certificate and the cremation fee from our preferred local community crematorium. Cremation casket, urn, government fee and taxes are additional.
Additional items of note: Private family viewing/Identification at our preparation facility is $295.

This service looks after all the preparation and paperwork for having someone flown out of town, within Canada.

International Ship-out with No Ceremony $2,997

This service looks after all the preparation and paperwork for having someone flown out of town, outside of Canada.

Prepare for Ship-out After Ceremony  $1,000

This service is added to a Visitation or Funeral Ceremony

Ship-in Reception  $1,000

This service is added to a Visitation or Funeral Ceremony
The above services may require additional costs for items like consulate, translation, government fees and taxes.
​Country specific caskets and/or shipping container may also be required.

D-I-Y Home Services

D-I-Y Home Funeral $1,177

This service includes: registering the death with vital statistics to produce the disposition permit and original death certificate, the Consumer Protection BC private transfer permit and transportation from the hospital or hospice to the family home. The family looks after the bathing, dressing & casketing of the body and any ceremony. Family is required to have the appropriate vehicle and casket for transportation to their choice of cemetery or crematorium.
​*Crematorium or cemeteries fees are not included*

​Delayed ​D-I-Y Home Funeral $1,825

This service includes everything from the D-I-Y Home Funeral, and provides you time to prepare by sheltering your loved one at our preparation facility until the time when you are ready to bring them home. 

​Delayed D-I-Y Home Funeral ​with Body Preparation $2,347

This service includes everything from the Delayed D-I-Y Home Funeral, and also includes the service to have the person's body prepared prior to coming to the home. Embalmed or not embalmed, both options are provided in this price.
The above prices include 1 original death certificate. Casket, government fee and taxes are additional.

Transfer Directly to the Family Home $400

This service provides you staff equipped with a transfer vehicle and stretcher to move someone from a hospital or hospice to a home.

Paperwork for Family Lead Disposition & Private Transfer $777

This service includes: registering the death with vital statistics to produce the disposition permit and original death certificate and the Consumer Protection BC private transfer permit. This administrative service allows a family to go to the hospital / hospice and transport their loved one home or to the cemetery/crematorium.  We simply speed up the process of getting these documents acquired so you can do the work efficiently. Family is required to have the appropriate vehicle and casket for transportation and will be looking after the preparation of the body themselves. 

​​Home Preparation House Call $995

Is your loved one already at home? Do you want help to prepare their body? This service provides you a licensed embalmer who will attend to the family home and help the family prepare their loved one's body through a non-embalming process to bath, dress and if present also casket.

Assisted ​D-I-Y  Burial $2,197

Would you like us to prepare everything for you, so you simply come pick up your loved one for their burial? We can make that happen for you. We'll provide all the necessary ​paperwork and body preparation. You are allowed to do the transportation with a CPBC transport permit. As a family or community you then perform the ceremony and burial without needing to have funeral home staff present.
Casket, government fee and taxes are additional.

Children Services

Neonatal Direct Burial  $500

This service is done on behalf of the family by the funeral home staff. The family is encouraged to build the child a casket if possible, otherwise caskets are available for purchase. 

 Burial must be done Monday-Friday and typically around 11am at Mountain View Cemetery in Vancouver or Surrey Centre Cemetery in Surrey. .

Standard Burial Service for Children 10 and under $1,272

This service provides the choice for a burial, viewing, and/or funeral with the use of our hearse, and support of our staff. The family is encouraged to build the child a casket if possible, otherwise caskets are available for purchase.

Pricing is for a burial done Monday-Friday.
Certificates of Remembrance or Death Certificates are $27 each. Government fee and taxes apply.

Exhumation

Exhumation $997

Our Exhumation service consists of the disinterment of an individual’s remains under the supervision of our licenced undertaker. The remains may then be moved to another section of the same cemetery, moved to another cemetery or brought to our preparation facility as part of further arrangements.
The above service may require additional costs for items such as the purchase of a new casket/urn, cremation fee. Government fee and taxes are applicable.

Pricing Disclosure

Prices effective June 1, 2022 and are subject to change without notice. 
All services subject to Government Fees and Taxes. This includes the Consumer Protection BC Fee $40, 5% GST on all services and items, and 7% PST on all products. Additional Death Certificates can be purchased for $27 each.
Burial caskets start at $495, Cremation Caskets $295, Urns $95. You may also choose to provide your own casket or urn.
