Hulda Hilda Schultz
It is with deep love and fond memories that we announce the passing of our wonderful mother,
grandmother, and great grandmother, Hulda (Hilda) Schultz. Hilda passed away peacefully on December
13, 2025, at home, at the age of 92.

Predeceased by her son, George Arthur (1955), her husband, Erick, and her siblings, Arthur and Ruth.
She is survived by her two children, daughter Elaine (Bill), and son David (Barbara), her six
grandchildren: Joel, Shawnda, Emily, Ellen, Corrie, Danica, their partners, and by her fourteen great-
grandchildren.

Hilda was born May 31st, 1933, on her parent’s farm in Minitonas, Manitoba, the middle of three children.

Her family migrated to Salmon Arm, BC, where she graduated from high school, then later moved to
Prince George, BC, where she and her husband Erick worked together to build their business and raised
their family. They returned to Salmon Arm, BC, in retirement.

Hilda was a dedicated homemaker, mother, and gardener first, and a secretary, bookkeeper, and
business owner second. She will be remembered for her gracious and caring, accepting and loving,
nature. Her faith and commitment to her Lord and Saviour was evident in her involvement in the church, volunteer work, and in all she did.

She lived a full and happy life blessed by, and being a blessing to, her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 16th, 2026, at 11:00 am at Shuswap Community
Church, at 3151 6th Ave NE, in Salmon Arm, BC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Churches Thrift Store, where Hilda spent many hours
volunteering and enjoying the fellowship and support of her friends, or the charity of your choice.

Hilda’s family extends heartfelt thanks to the many caring healthcare professionals for their support, and especially to Dr. Amy Megyesi for her exceptional care, sensitivity, and guidance throughout Mom’s life, particularly in her final months and days.
