Linda Marie Ickringill (nee Moran)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linda Marie Ickringill (nee Moran) on January 31, 2026, at the age of 82.
Linda was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and later settled in North Burnaby, where she built many meaningful connections throughout her life. A proud Métis woman, Linda carried strength, resilience, and heart through all that life brought her. Despite the adversity she experienced, she continued to move through life with dignity, courage, and determination.
Linda will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She had a friendly personality and a gift for connecting with others, leaving a lasting impression on the many people she met along the way. Her warmth, spirit, and resilience will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her brother, Gary Murphy; her children, Philip (Don) Moran, Joanne Phillips, and Amanda Ickringill; and her grandchildren, Jacob Moran, Julian Ickringill, and Joshua Ickringill.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Moran; her son, Jeffrey Moran; and her parents, Philip (Tex) Moran and Ruth Moran, who now welcome her into the great beyond.
Linda’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
