May 31, 1948 — February 21, 2025

Len was the second of five children born to George A. and Maria Enns of Morden Manitoba. At 19, he married Irma Klassen, and became a father within the first year of their marriage. Len’s first career was that of a meat cutter however, an opportunity arose for him to join the agricultural industry as a feed representative to farmers. His reputation grew and an unknown-to-him feed company in a place called Abbotsford tried to recruit him. Len answered God’s call and accepted a position at Ritchie Smith Feeds as a poultry specialist where he made a career for the next 40 years.
Len lost his high school sweetheart in 2019 when his wife of 52+ years passed away. Little did he know that God was about to bring a new love his way. One week before she passed, Len met Barbara Lange, who had moved her husband of 32+ years to the same hospice. The two quickly became friends. Three weeks later, Barb was experiencing the loss of her spouse and it didn’t take them very long to see it was God that had brought them together. Their sorrow was turned into joy and they were married at the beginning of the Covid pandemic on March 25, 2020.
After returning from a family reunion in Winnipeg, Len said that he appeared to be the healthiest of the bunch, a trip to emergency with severe stomach cramps, led to a cancer diagnosis. It was stage 4 esophageal cancer and the prognosis was not encouraging.
Len went to meet his Lord and Saviour on the 21st, with family and friends by his side. He is survived by his wife Barb, son Kevin (Teri), grandson Jesse (Laura), granddaughter Rachel (Stephan), seven great grandchildren, sister Mary (Arthur), brothers Edwin (Carolynn), Larry (Sharon), and Wilfred (Susan), and many nieces and nephews.

“Go rest high on that mountain Len, your work on earth is done.”

A Memorial will be held on March 15, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Sevenoaks Alliance Church, 2575 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford.
